Serena was delighted to give an invited talk at this years iWish event, Inspiring Women in STEM. Two days of inspirational talks from leading women in careers across science, technology, engineering and maths took place in at the Royal Dublin Society, where iWish was host to thousands of Irish female students.

Congratulations Beth!
Congratulations to PhD student Beth Johnston who won a 3 minute thesis presentation prize at the recent Carnegie PhD Scholars Gathering 2018. Beth presented some of her latest results on nickel-containing cathodes for Li-ion batteries. Well done Beth!
Serena awarded Journal of Materials Chemistry lectureship
Serena has been selected as the eighth winner of the Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship. She will her work as part of this award at the 2018 Spring MRS in Phoenix Arizona, April 2018.
