Work on new sodium solid-state electrolytes, carried out in the Corr and Cussen groups by Dr Marco Amores, has been featured in the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source annual report. This work, published in Chemical Communications details a new sodium-rich double perovskite as a solid electrolyte material. The group employed muon spin relaxation spectroscopy to determine the sodium-ion diffusion properties, as well as impedance analysis. You can read more about this work in the ISIS Annual Review and the University of Sheffield website.
