Serena traveled to the Mary Rose to give a public lecture on our groups conservation efforts using magnetic nanoparticles to treat waterlogged wood samples. Our work is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, in collaboration with researchers at Warwick University and the Mary Rose. This meeting was a great opportunity to hear about the various conservation strategies ongoing at the Mary Rose and a chance to visit the wonderful Mary Rose museum!
